Over the past seven years, Mountain Range Boutique Lodge has built up a great reputation. In December 2006, we were described as the 'Best Southern Lakes B&B' in the Air New Zealand Inflight Magazine. Since then we have continued to add and better the guest experience at the lodge.
Rough Guide to New Zealand
"Idyllic and peaceful seven-room luxury lodge amid tussock on the edge of town. The spacious rooms are simply but tastefully decorated with New Zealand artworks and there’s an understated, informal air to the place. Hot tub, hammocks, welcome drinks and marvellous breakfasts round out a fine experience."

If you want breathtaking views of three mountain ranges, peace and quiet, and luxurious rooms with beautiful bathrooms, Mountain Range delivers. Terrific young hosts -- they've been recommended by many -- and their rooms are delicious, understated luxury and comfort that makes them one of my favorite Wanaka spots. Ask for the McKerrow room if you want a giant bathtub, or the loft room for coziness and great views.
Greenwood Guides
It’s a dreamy environment they have here - a large weatherboard and schist stone lodge built on a quiet parkland plot, surrounded by grass, two minutes outside Wanaka. The lodge was designed to make the most of the light and does so admirably. A homely sitting-room lures you in with its large fire, comfy sofas, Sky TV, DVD collection and book exchange.
I could not resist this warm heart of the house for a minute, not even to slip outside and into the new Canadian-style hot tub in the garden - more fool me. And finally to sleep, in a spotless, understated bedroom with its supreme bed, its spa in the en-suite bathroom (all bathrooms have heated floors) and its views over frosty lawns to distant mountains.
